Running & Marathon Training

Running is not only one of the best ways to improve your fitness, but also an extremely effective way to lose weight and keep it off. Our focus is on delivering individually tailored running programs that cater specifically to your goals and physical condition, whether you are a seasoned competition runner or a complete beginner.

As well as being your 'running partner' our certified running personal trainers will focus on teaching the correct and most efficient running and breathing techniques. We find that most joggers and runners repeatedly place undue stress on their bodies because their running technique is poor. This can lead to multiple muscular and joint injuries if not picked up and corrected early. Our personal trainers use biomechanical and movement analysis to help identify weaknesses and abnormalities in running technique helping to improve your running performance whilst eliminating injury.

Each running program includes specific stretching and resistance training routines that will strengthen key muscles and ligaments to help condition the body, protect the joints and maximise running performance. These will be used in conjunction with various running drills that will improve your fitness, speed and stamina.

Our running personal trainers are all experienced competition runners and regularly train clients for 5k, 10k, half marathons, and marathons. Our personal trainers provide the motivation, education and support to enable individuals of all levels to achieve and exceed their personal running goals.

Last year our personal trainers helped clients to success in numerous running events in the UK, including the Royal Parks Half Marathon, Race for Life, Great North Run, Windsor Half Marathon, London Marathon, Reading Half Marathon, Brighton Marathon and the Adidas 5K Women's Challenge.
