Having a positive mindset can bring you many benefits including getting your dream body… yeah, that’s right! Our brain is like a muscle – we learn by taking action, even if the results are not great in the beginning, you’re still learning and day by day you get better at it, you improve. We need to stretch our brains to the point of failure to learn and grow, just like our muscles.
By getting out of your comfort zone, having focus and dedication can take you further than you could have ever imagined. This means that you need to set yourself some rules, have a plan and stick to it!
Having clear goals of what you want to achieve is important through this journey, write them down, also believing that you CAN and WILL achieve your goals can increase your confidence and your abilities.
Having the right mindset will not prevent stressful situations from happening but it will have a positive impact on your reactions to these situations by staying in the present, focusing and finding logical solutions which can improve your self-discipline.
The art of waking up and pursuing your goal by being one workout away from it takes self-discipline and your mind is the muscle that will push you to your limits, that will bring the best out of you.
So, it’s important that you train your mind as much as you train your body!
This is how you can do it:
- Practice meditation, calm your mind, stay centred by deep breathing or doing any other activity that puts your mind at rest.
- Sleep, drink and eat well: our intake of water, food and sleep can really affect our wellbeing, our physical and mental health – so make sure to sleep for at least 8 hours, eat healthy food and drink a lot of water.
