Taken from an independent study conducted by Buyagift.com, which collated the survey data from 850 participants, the results strongly support the hypothesis that the more you earn the more physically active you are likely to be.

The exciting findings have been presented in this interactive infographic, where you can enter your income and the amount you exercise and it will calculate if you are above or below average. Results startlingly demonstrate that 37% of those earning less than £20k per year never exercise.

Of course correlation does not imply causality, you may be unemployed right now and enjoy running 3-4 times a week, working-out or participating in a number of sports. What, however, this study does indicate is that if you are the type of person who puts in the hard work with their fitness to get those results, you are more than likely to be the type of person who works harder in other areas of life as well.
