Medical research is clear: many of the health problems most associated with getting older are in many cases the result of a more sedentary lifestyle, not age itself. Staying active doesn't just slow the process. For many people, it reverses it.

We understand how the body changes, what to prioritise at each stage, and how to build sessions that improve strength, mobility and quality of life

Senior Fitness FAQs

Is personal training suitable if I’m over 60?

Absolutely. Many clients begin exercising later in life. Our focus is helping you move well, feel stronger and stay independent, regardless of your starting point. Our goal for Senior Fitness is all about longevity and independence. So, we are motivated to build your confidence as we exercise.

How many sessions should I start with?

If you’re new to exercise, we’d usually recommend starting with one session each week or a consultation. As your confidence grows, you can increase to two or three sessions if that’s right for you. But your coach will always be there to advise you. Due to our upgrade and downgrade functionality, it’s easy to toggle the frequency between months based on how you are feeling.

I’m signing my parents up. Can I be involved?

Of course. This is very common. You’re welcome to join the consultation or first session so everyone feels comfortable with the trainer and programme.

I have arthritis or other health conditions. Can I still train?

In many cases, yes. Our senior fitness specialists regularly work with clients who have existing health conditions. Every programme is adapted around your medical history and any professional advice you’ve received. We will cover this thoroughly at the start and make sure we design the program with all the information we need. Because of the nature of our sessions, we encourage active feedback throughout. If anything doesn’t feel right, you can simply let us know.

What if I don’t get on with my trainer?

We’ll happily arrange a rematch. Finding the right coach is one of the most important parts of long-term success. You can simply contact our customer support team or leave feedback via the app, and we will be in touch.
